The Clover Stool first came to life through season 3 of the TV program Denmark's Next Classic, where Martin Colberg and Peter Serup were among the participants.
The design brief it answered was to create a stool, using a minimum of materials, that was comfortable enough as an extra seat around a dining table during a 2-course meal – and without compromising on aesthetics.
With the name, Clover Stool, we pay tribute to every barefoot child who, with his gaze fixed on the ground in a field of clover, seeks luck on his own. And to a large extent also the adults,
who still carries that child within her.
