Trading conditions

These terms and conditions apply to private consumers' purchase of goods on Ro Collection's webshop. It is not possible to use any VAT/CVR number on the webshop. If you purchase as a business customer within the EU in this webshop, you are responsible for VAT refunds yourself. Prices and payment

In this webshop, you can order your items online and pay via: Dankort, Visa/Dankort, MasterCard, Dankort and MobilePay. All prices on our webshop are shown including VAT. A larger amount can never be charged than the amount you approved with your order. Prices are stated inclusive of 25% VAT.

When placing an order, only an authorization of the payment amount is generally made. The payment itself is normally not debited until the item is dispatched.

The customer can cancel the order at any time and receive a full refund, provided the item has not yet been dispatched.

 

Delivery and transport

We strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible, preferably within 1-3 working days. During peak periods, including but not limited to sales, extra delivery time should be expected. All customers paying by credit card will be subject to validation, and Ro Collection ApS reserves the right to postpone the delivery of an order if we believe further security checks are needed. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email with the package's tracking number. Delivery of an item is considered complete when the consumer has received the item from our freight carrier (As a general rule, GLS). For purchases over DKK 599, delivery is included. During sales periods or similar, we reserve the right to deviate from the offer of free shipping. We do not deliver to PO boxes.

If there is visible damage to the packaging upon receipt of your packages, this must be noted in writing to the freight forwarder upon receipt, and Ro Collection ApS must then be notified within 5 working days at ro@rocollection.dk.

 

Made to order

We offer selected made-to-order furniture. It will be clearly marked on the item if it is a made-to-order item. The expected delivery date will be clearly stated on your order confirmation. When you order a made-to-order item, the product is specially manufactured for you – which means you can expect a longer delivery time than our standard delivery time. Your payment will be charged as soon as you place your order. Please note that made-to-order items cannot be cancelled or returned.

We strive to provide the most accurate estimated delivery date for made-to-order items. However, the delivery of made-to-order items may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances (delays from the supplier, freight company, etc.). We naturally do our best to keep you informed of any delays in your order. When we are ready to send your made-to-order item(s), we will send you an email.

 

Delivery of furniture

When you order furniture or larger items, they will be delivered by a special freight company to your delivery address. You will be contacted directly regarding the delivery time, so you can ensure you are at the address for delivery. If you are not at home at the agreed delivery time, your item may be returned to the warehouse. In that case, please contact us directly for assistance. Furniture is delivered to the curb, or, if this is not possible, as close to your delivery address as possible. You are responsible for getting the delivery from the curb into your home. This service does not include carrying inside, removing packaging or pallets.

 

Receipt of goods/shipping damage 

The risk for an item purchased from Ro Collection ApS transfers to you at the time of delivery. Upon receipt of the item, you should inspect the packaging for visible damage. All shipping damage must be reported to Ro Collection ApS as soon as possible at kundeservice@rocollection.dk. If, despite obvious damage to the package, you do not object to the freight forwarder, there may be doubt as to where the package was damaged, and you risk being liable for any damage yourself. If there is minor damage to the package and you assess that it is safe to receive the package, you should, together with the driver, note on the freight bill that you receive the package with reservations. In case of suspicion of shipping damage, you must:

  1. Keep the packaging, as it can be used to document claims against the freight company.
  2. As far as possible, take pictures of the package and any damage.
  3. Contact Ro Collection ApS for further information.

 

Complaint
The Sale of Goods Act's concept of defects applies to the purchase. In accordance with the Sale of Goods Act, a 24-month right to complain is granted on all items. The right to complain means that as a customer, you can complain about faults and defects in the product that have occurred up to 24 months after the purchase. However, it is a prerequisite that these defects have not arisen as a result of your incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior that caused the defect. If the complaint is justified, your remedies are rectification, redelivery, price reduction, or cancellation of the agreement, depending on the specific situation. You must complain within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. If you complain within 2 months, the complaint is always considered timely. We will refund reasonable shipping costs you may incur in connection with returning the item when the complaint is justified. Right of withdrawal
Private individuals have the right to withdraw from an agreement without reason within 14 days. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or another person you have chosen takes physical possession of the item. If you have ordered several items in one order, and we cannot deliver the items at the same time, the withdrawal period runs from when you or another person you have chosen takes physical possession of the last item. If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Day, the deadline is extended to the following working day. Please note that made-to-order items cannot be cancelled or returned.

We will then send you a reference number, which must be affixed to the withdrawal form attached to your order. The withdrawal period is complied with if you send your notification of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. You cannot withdraw by refusing to receive the item or by failing to pick it up without simultaneously notifying us that you are withdrawing.

 

Return of goods and return costs
Once you have received a return reference number from us, fill out the withdrawal form and enclose it in the box. Then attach the GLS return label to the box and ensure the item is properly packed. You bear the risk for the item from the time of delivery and are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packaged before return, and you are also responsible for the item until it has been returned to us. The cost of using the return label amounts to DKK 50.00, which will be deducted from the refund.

 

Refund

We will refund the amount without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we received your notification of withdrawal. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided documentation that the goods have been returned. We will carry out such a refund using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction. In any event, you will not be charged any fees as a result of the refund.

 

Testing the item and packaging

You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item that is due to handling the item other than what is necessary to determine the item's nature, characteristics, and how it functions. You may normally examine the item in the same way that you can and may in a shop, but you may not use it, for example, you must not remove labels and hangtags. If you have used the item in a way that is not permitted or possible in a shop, and we cannot resell it or cannot sell it at full price again, you must expect us to deduct the depreciation in value from the amount you are to receive back. If the item no longer has a market value, we will not refund the purchase amount. Missing original packaging may constitute a depreciation in value, so to be sure of receiving a full refund, it is recommended that the item be returned in its original packaging. You should also ensure that the item is properly packaged when you return it. You bear the risk for the package/items until we receive it. Therefore, keep the postal receipt and any track and trace number.

 

Personal data policy

For us to enter into an agreement with you, we need the following information: Name - Address - Phone number - Email address. We register your personal data for the purpose of being able to deliver the goods to you. The personal data is registered with Ro Collection ApS and stored for five years, after which it is deleted.

 

Access to complaints

If you as a consumer wish to complain about your purchase, you must contact kundeservice@rocollection.dk. If we are unable to find a solution, you can send a complaint to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. You can submit your complaint via nævneneshus.dk.

The EU Commission's online complaint portal can also be used for submitting a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you reside in another EU country. If you wish to use the EU Commission's online complaint portal, you can use this link: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

 

Law and jurisdiction
Purchases on the webshop are subject to Danish law and the jurisdiction is the City Court of Copenhagen. However, mandatory national legislation may apply to deliveries outside Denmark. Persons under 18 years of age cannot shop on this webshop without the consent of a guardian.
