Hand Turned Vase Curved no. 60

Hand Turned Vase is a series of two beautiful vases turned by hand in a small pottery workshop. The vases are each unique with a strong character, both because of the shapes and in the choice of clay. Each individual vase is created by hand, which is why no two are alike.

The series consists of Curved and Classic, each of which has its own distinctive expression and possibilities of use. The vases are made of coarse-grained clay, which gives the vases fine, small, naturally occurring spots. Before the vases are fired, the clay appears dark and almost smooth in its structure. However, the 1250 degree oven transforms the clay to appear light with brown spots of golden grains. The outside of the vases is left untreated, leaving the vases with a rustic and Nordic look.
